The common aim of these activities is to exchange points of view, to develop relationships, and to take into account the personal and professional dimension. The objective is to promote mutual understanding, to allow people and projects to grow and develop, and to be proactive in the process.
La Belle Ouvrage was born of the meeting of Clara Rousseau, then the director of production company Minijy and academic supervisor for the administration department of the Greta School of Decorative Arts for 12 years, with Laure Guazzoni and Albane Ahrens, who founded production company Et bientôt… and regular training managers.
From their observations of the cultural field of the past few years and discussions with many professionals, there seemed to be a need for a space entirely dedicated to the connection of people with the working process in this field.
This space would have to be neutral, welcoming and unprivileged, and would have to allow professionals to analyse, question and hone their connection to the working process; it would have to promote discussions and the flow of knowledge, as well as social and technical skills.
